to support our project quality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical works and ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, and local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and monitor mechanical installation works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and related systems.
Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection and quality reports.
Review mechanical material submittals, technical documents, and method statements.
Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and site engineers.
Witness testing, commissioning, pressure testing, flushing, and balancing activities.
Identify non-conformities, issue NCRs, and verify corrective actions.
Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection checklists, and handover records.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, ASTM, BS, ASME, NFPA, IPC, etc.).
Support project audits, snagging, and final handover activities.
Mandatory Requirements
8-10 years of experience
as a QA/QC Mechanical Inspector.
Valid UPDA Certification
(mandatory).
Strong experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical QA/QC procedures.
Familiar with local authority requirements and approvals.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of testing & commissioning processes.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
