The QA/QC Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures for all mechanical works on high-rise building projects. The role ensures that HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and project quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor
QA/QC procedures
for mechanical works in high-rise projects.
Review approved
shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals
.
Conduct
site inspections
and ensure works comply with project specifications and quality standards.
Prepare, submit, and close
Inspection Requests (IRs)
with consultants.
Identify
non-conformities (NCRs)
and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Coordinate with
site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants
to resolve quality issues.
Monitor installation of
HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Smoke Management, and Gas systems
.
Witness and document
testing, commissioning, pressure testing, flushing, and balancing activities
.
Maintain proper
QA/QC documentation
, checklists, test reports, and handover dossiers.
Ensure compliance with
UAE/local authority regulations
(Civil Defence, DEWA, DM, etc.).
Support final inspection, snag clearance, and project handover.
