Job Description

To manage and oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities across infrastructure projects, ensuring that all works comply with company quality standards, client specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and related quality documentation in line with project and client requirements. Lead the QA/QC team in monitoring construction quality for Civil, Electrical Infrastructure, and FM projects. Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and test results to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and surveillance to verify adherence to approved procedures and standards. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution. Ensure proper documentation, calibration of testing equipment, and maintenance of QA/QC records. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for any non-conformities. Provide training and awareness sessions to project teams on quality requirements and best practices. Support the handover process by ensuring all QA/QC documentation and test certificates are complete and approved.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in QA/QC within major infrastructure or civil construction projects (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.). Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and local authority standards (DM, RTA, ADM, etc.). Experience working with consultants, main contractors, and government entities in the UAE or GCC. Certification in ISO Lead Auditor / Quality Management is preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
