The Role

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced QA QC Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile Interior Fit Out & Civils projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a QA QC Manager on major interior fit out and civils projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of QA QC Manager for a recognised main contracting company previously. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 Month Contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting. There is an option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties Key Responsibilities: o Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans. o Conduct regular site inspections and audits. o Manage all QA/QC documentation. o Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. o Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. o Identify and resolve quality issues. o Prepare and present QA/QC reports. o Lead & Mentor QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors o Review and monitor material specifications and quality standards, workflow, processes, etc. and recommend adjustments if needed in order to comply with the company policies, client and statutory requirements. o Conduct and coordinate regular inspections, making sure also that work, products and documentations are prepared prior. o Address quality issues on an immediate basis and coordinate with concerned personnel and discuss the measures to be taken to minimize quality risk. o Preparing and reviewing all inspection reports for compliance o Prepare and regularly (weekly) submit reports and maintain QC records. o Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports weekly, monthly, and annually, non conformance trend Analysis, remedial actions, and submit to Employer. o Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented on site and the particular hold points required are coordinated with the Project Team o Review QA/QC organization Conduct Quality or technical compliance audits for Contractor, Sub Contractor or Vendors o Review QA/QC Procedures and ensure implementation is in compliance with agreed requirements o Review Inspection, Test, Plans and ensure compliance with agreed requirement etc. o Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required



Requirements

QA/QC Manager Experience:

o Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field o 7-10+ years experience in Main Contracting Quality Assurance and Control - at least 2 in a recognised UAE Main Contractor o Proven track record of managing teams of engineers and inspectors in QA QC processes o Strong knowledge of construction quality control processes o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills o Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications o Experience working with inspection agencies and regulatory bodies o Strong interpersonal and communication skills o Certifications in quality control, such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt, are beneficial
