Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage the Quality Assurance & Quality Control functions for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project activities comply with project specifications, standards, codes, and client requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage site quality teams efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and QA/QC procedures. Lead the QA/QC team and ensure all inspections, tests, and documentation are executed properly. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, NCR resolutions, and quality-related communications. Conduct quality audits on site, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with standards and contract requirements. Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and international standards. Review and approve material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and other technical documents related to quality. Identify quality issues, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Maintain all QA/QC records, inspection logs, test reports, material traceability, and project documentation. Ensure that all testing (concrete, soil, MEP, finishes, etc.) is performed according to standards and documented properly. Provide training and awareness to site teams on quality procedures and continuous improvement. Coordinate with HSE and Project Management teams to ensure integrated compliance. Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management and the client. Support the final handover process including quality dossiers, as-built documentation, and close-out reports.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or related field). Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry (buildings/infrastructure). Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, project specifications, and construction standards. Experience in managing QA/QC teams and dealing with consultants/clients. Excellent understanding of ITPs, method statements, NCRs, PQP, and QA/QC documentation. Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
