Responsibilities

Prepare, implement, and maintain the project-specific QA/QC Plan in line with industry standards and company procedures. Develop and maintain quality control procedures, protocols, and templates to guide project teams. Ensure that the QA/QC Plan is followed and adapted as necessary throughout the construction lifecycle. Monitor and review construction processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with the quality plan and ensure continuous improvement. Evaluate contractor, subcontractor, and supplier performance to ensure they meet quality standards. Inspect and verify materials delivered to the site for compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Approve or reject materials based on inspection and testing results. Coordinate and oversee material testing, including concrete, steel, aggregates, and other essential construction materials. Certify that all construction works meet the required quality standards before being accepted. Identify and document deficiencies, non-conformities, or defects in construction activities and materials. Implement a non-conformance management process to monitor the status of corrective actions and preventive measures. Ensure that all construction activities comply with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality goals are integrated into the project plan. Lead quality control meetings and review project performance with key stakeholders.: Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective action reports (CARs), and test results. Produce regular QA/QC reports for senior management and clients, detailing quality performance and areas of concern. Provide training to project team members, contractors, and subcontractors on quality control procedures, standards, and expectations. Investigate the root causes of recurring quality issues and defects. Track and report the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure that health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to alongside quality requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering Min 15+ years' experience in UAE based construction companies. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
