Job Summary:

The

QA/QC Inspector

is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The inspector will monitor and document quality control processes, conduct inspections, and work closely with project teams to maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet approved submittals and contract requirements. Conduct tests (e.g., concrete slump, compaction, weld inspections) and document results. Identify and report non-conformities, defects, or deviations from quality standards. Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and logs for quality documentation. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Participate in quality audits and assist in implementing corrective actions. Review and approve method statements, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures. Monitor the implementation of quality control plans and ensure adherence to ISO or other relevant standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum [X] years in QA/QC inspection within the construction industry (residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects).

Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., ACI, AWS CWI, ASNT, ISO 9001) are a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in reading blueprints, codes, and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, AISC).

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Software:

Familiarity with QA/QC software and Microsoft Office Suite.
