QA/QC Inspector (Mechanicall)**

**Doha, Qatar**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site, perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings and specs

+ Performs electrical inspections and tests, such as water/ wastewater pump station, wastewater treatment plants, piping systems for water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage, gas, districtcooling, etc..

+ Interprets design plans and specifications to verify the work installed and performed in accordance with the contract documents

+ Produces activity reports as necessary to ensure that all QC activities have been fulfilled.

+ Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.

+ Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures as requested by the Construction Manager

+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

**Requirements:**

+ Required Qualification: 4-year degree in mechanical engineering

+ 7+ years post graduate experience in the type of works to be inspected.

+ Extensive knowledge of QA/QC management practices, processes and current technology.

+ Proficiency in the use of computers and software packages related to QA/QC.

+ Proven experience in directing and implementing quality management systems and standards specified by **Kahramaa, QCDD, IEC, ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM** and similar organizations.

+ Experience in testing and commissioning of Mechanical systems

+ Good written and oral communication.
