Job Description

Job Summary:



The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and reporting on the condition and performance of building assets and systems. The role ensures compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and health & safety guidelines. The ideal candidate should have an electromechanical background, strong technical knowledge in building systems, and experience in quality assurance within property, facilities, or community management environments.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits of building assets, including HVAC, MEP systems, firefighting systems, civil works, and Electro-Mechanical equipment. Evaluate building systems performance and condition to ensure compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to

Dubai Municipality (DM) & Dubai Civil Defense (DCD)

codes, guidelines, and safety requirements. Inspect systems related to fire safety, emergency response, and life safety equipment. Prepare detailed inspection reports, checklists, deficiency notices, and recommendations for corrective actions. Identify maintenance issues, defects, and potential risks and communicate findings to the Operations/Engineering teams. Ensure proper implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance plans. Follow up on rectification works and verify all works comply with approved standards. Maintain accurate inspection documentation and records. Assist in enforcing health, safety, and environment compliance across all facilities. Support the implementation of quality control procedures, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Firefighting, and Mechanical assets.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inspections, facilities management, maintenance supervision, or building quality control.

Knowledge of Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), Dubai Municipality (DM) codes, and Health & Safety requirements is mandatory.

Valid UAE Driving License is required. Excellent understanding of building asset life cycle, maintenance best practices, and quality control standards. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of producing clear technical reports. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:



Experience in community/owners association management environments. Familiarity with CAFM/FM systems, maintenance logs, and inspection checklists. Experience conducting technical audits and safety inspections.
