QC Inspector (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection & Testing

Conduct daily inspections of civil and structural works (e.g., excavation, formwork, rebar, concreting, masonry, plastering, finishing). Verify materials and workmanship against approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Ensure that all civil activities are carried out as per approved Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and QA/QC records. Maintain records of material test results, concrete cube test reports, and other quality-related documents. Ensure that all completed works are properly documented for handover.

Coordination

Coordinate with construction, design, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related issues. Liaise with the client's representative or consultant during inspections. Assist in preparing quality control procedures, checklists, and ITPs.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes (ASTM, ACI, BS, IS, etc.), and QA/QC plans. Report deviations or non-conformances to the QA/QC Engineer or Manager. Promote quality and safety awareness among the workforce

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects. Familiarity with

quality standards

(ISO 9001) and

project specifications

. Experience in preparing

QA/QC documentation

, test reports, and NCRs. Knowledge of

construction materials testing

and relevant standards. Proficiency in

MS Office

and basic understanding of

AutoCAD

(preferred).
