To ensure that all fit-out and finishing works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections, documenting findings, and ensuring corrective actions are taken to maintain quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities1. Inspection & Quality Control

Conduct inspections for all fit-out activities including partitioning, ceiling, flooring, joinery, painting, MEP fit-out, and finishing works. Verify that materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Review and approve material inspection requests (MIR) and work inspection requests (WIR). Perform in-process and final inspections, documenting all findings. Ensure proper installation and finishing of architectural and interior elements.

2. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain inspection and test records as per project quality plan (PQP). Prepare and submit QA/QC daily reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action requests (CARs). Maintain updated QA/QC documentation including method statements, checklists, and inspection logs. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspection approvals.

3. Quality Assurance

Ensure that quality control procedures are implemented and followed at site level. Assist in preparing and reviewing method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality procedures. Support the QA/QC Manager in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives. Verify that site works are executed as per health, safety, and environmental standards.

4. Coordination

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure timely inspection and approval. Interface with design and procurement teams for quality-related clarifications. Participate in quality meetings and provide technical input on quality issues.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Architectural / Interior Engineering or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in QA/QC inspection within

fit-out or interior contracting

industry. Strong understanding of finishing materials, installation techniques, and interior detailing. Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and QA/QC documentation. Good knowledge of project specifications, drawings, and international standards. Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.
