Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Review and implement project QA/QC plans, method statements, and ITPs related to structural works. Conduct inspections for formwork, rebar, concrete works, structural steel, and other related structural activities. Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives for inspection and testing requirements. Ensure all materials used comply with approved materials and project specifications. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection requests (IR), material receiving inspection reports (MIR), and non-conformance reports (NCR). Monitor and report on the progress of structural quality activities and inspections. Ensure calibration of testing equipment and oversee third-party testing as required. Participate in internal and external audits as required by the client. Ensure that safety and quality requirements are followed during site activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC for
structural works
in the construction/oil & gas sector. Knowledge of relevant codes (BS, ASTM, ACI, or equivalent). Good understanding of concrete mix design, rebar detailing, and structural steel erection QA/QC processes. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Ability to work in Ras Laffan site conditions.Job Type: Contract
