to be the definitive quality authority for all civil and geotechnical works on our utility-scale solar projects. This role requires deep, hands-on experience in verifying the critical foundational elements--the core of the Module Mounting Structure (MMS) installation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, implementing, and monitoring the Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for the entire piling and foundation scope.
Key Responsibilities
Piling & Foundation Quality:
Serve as the technical expert for QA/QC processes covering various solar foundation types, including:
Direct Ramming/Driven Piles:
Ensuring precise location, verticality, embedment depth, and load-bearing capacity compliance.
Micro Piling/Helical Piles:
Overseeing installation, torque monitoring, and quality control for smaller or specialized foundations.
Cast-in-situ Piling:
Managing quality checks for bore holes, rebar cages, concrete pouring, and curing processes where applicable.
Documentation & Compliance:
Develop and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality checklists specific to the piling and foundation works. Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including test results, daily inspection reports, and material certifications.
Non-Conformance Management:
Identify and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track their closure, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Materials Inspection:
Conduct rigorous inspection and approval of incoming materials used in foundations (steel piles, rebar, concrete, etc.) to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Coordination:
Coordinate with third-party testing agencies, the client's quality team, and the site construction team to schedule inspections and resolve technical discrepancies promptly.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of dedicated QA/QC experience
on utility-scale construction projects, with a mandatory focus on
solar PV foundational works

Demonstrated, hands-on experience with quality control procedures for
direct ramming/driven piling
and
micro piling/helical piling
in solar farm environments.
Technical Skills:
