Role Overview

We are seeking a competent QA/QC Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control for MEP contracting projects, with the ability to support site teams in ensuring that all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and follow the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and approved quality procedures on site. Carry out site inspections for MEP works (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, ELV, Fire Fighting) to verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and ITPs. Prepare and submit Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs). Coordinate inspections with consultants, main contractors, and relevant authorities, and ensure timely approvals. Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure. Ensure all materials used on site are approved, inspected, and properly stored. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, inspection reports, test results, and site logs. Support site engineers and supervisors in understanding quality requirements and inspection processes. Assist in preparation of as-built documentation, test certificates, and project handover documents. Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and company quality policies at all times.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical). Minimum 5-8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within UAE MEP contracting projects. Basic to strong knowledge of MEP systems, quality standards, and inspection procedures. Familiarity with local authority requirements and international standards. Experience in site inspections, documentation, and coordination with consultants. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
