Responsible for end-to-end QA/QC of process instrumentation (Level Gauges, Thermowell, Pressure & Temperature Gauges, Orifice Flange & Plate Assembly, RTD, Pressure & Temperature Transmitter, Injection Quill etc.) & sampling systems, skids, piping projects.
International Standards Competency: ASME (V, VIII, IX, B31.3, 16.5, 16.36, 16.47), API, ASTM, ISO, AWS, NACE/AMPP, BGAS/SSPC.
Document Control & Procedures: Prepare/review/issue QAP, ITPs, WPS/PQR/WPQ, NDT procedures, painting/coating procedures, hydrotest procedures
Materials & Traceability: Perform incoming material inspection (MTR/MTC), PMI identification.
Welding & Welder Control: Fit-up, Preheat/Interpass/PWHT, weld mapping per ASME IX/VIII/B31.3; conduct welder continuity checks, Preparation of WPS/PQR as per ASME section IX.
NDT Coordination & Acceptance: Plan/witness RT/UT/MT/PT per ASME V; interpret films/scans; sign off NDT reports under ASNT Level-II.
Coating Inspection: Knowledge of painting inspection per NACE/SSPC/ISO/ASTM -- substrate prep, anchor profile, salt/dew-point checks, DFT mapping, cure verification, holiday testing.
Testing & Commissioning Witness: Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, flushing, functional tests; verify calibration traceability; generate test packs for mechanical completion.
TPI / Client Interface: Coordinate and host TPI/client inspections; provide documentary evidence; close observations; manage third-party queries.
NCR & CAPA Management: Raise NCRs, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, verify effectiveness; maintain NCR register and closure evidence
