We are looking for a

QA/QC Engineer

with a

minimum of 5 years of experience

to join our quality team. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance and control processes

through all stages of the project lifecycle - from design and procurement to construction and commissioning

.

This is a

hands-on role

requiring a

proactive individual

who can

independently handle quality-related responsibilities

, provide

technical support to the team

, and ensure project compliance with applicable quality standards.

Site visits

will be part of the role; hence, prior field experience is

highly desirable

.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), and quality procedures.

Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, and client requirements.

Conduct inspections, audits, and tests at various project stages -- from design reviews to on-site construction activities.

Identify and report non-conformities, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

Review vendor documentation and ensure adherence to quality requirements.

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Maintain proper documentation and reporting to support project traceability and quality records.

Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience

in the

oil & gas industry

(onshore or offshore projects).

Strong understanding of

project phases from design to construction and commissioning

.

Experience working with relevant

quality management systems

, industry

codes and standards

(e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, API, AWS, ANSI).

Familiarity with QA/QC

software and tools

(e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, inspection reporting systems).

Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and support multidisciplinary teams.

Field/site QA/QC inspection experience, including welding, NDT, or coating inspections.
