Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) (MAIN CONTRACTORS)

Key Responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing:
Conducting thorough inspections of materials, processes, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards, using various tools and techniques.
Documentation:
Maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, and any deviations or defects found, ensuring traceability and quality control.
Quality Control: I
mplementing and enforcing quality control procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with other teams to resolve quality issues.
Process Improvement:
Analyzing quality data, identifying root causes of defects, and recommending changes to processes, procedures, or equipment to enhance product quality and prevent future issues.
Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to industry standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Collaboration:
Working with various teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and design, to address quality concerns and implement solutions.
Training:
Providing guidance and training to other team members on quality control procedures and best practices.
Documentation:
Creating and maintaining QA/QC documentation, including procedures, reports, and manuals, according to qaqc-construction.com.
Audits:
Conducting internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
A
Bachelor's degree
in engineering, quality management, or a related field is often required.
Experience:
Relevant
Experience of 2-5 years
in quality control processes within manufacturing, construction, or technology sectors is highly beneficial.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), testing methodologies, and relevant industry standards.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
Certifications:
Six Sigma or ISO 9001 certifications can be advantageous.
