Position Overview:

OIL Exec Employment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

QA/QC Engineer - Pipeline

to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for pipeline construction projects based in Fujairah, UAE. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to all quality standards, codes, and client specifications, with proven expertise in the oil and gas sector, particularly within the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for pipeline projects. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Review and approve welding procedures and quality documentation. Monitor testing activities including NDT and hydrostatic tests. Identify and resolve quality non-conformances. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and inspection agencies. Maintain accurate quality records and reports. Provide technical support to the project team on QA/QC matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in QA/QC for pipeline projects within the oil and gas industry, with significant exposure to UAE projects. Thorough knowledge of pipeline construction codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME). Proven expertise in quality management systems, welding inspection, and NDT techniques. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams in a site-based environment.
