Position:

QA/QC Engineer - MEP

Experience Required:

Total: 5-9 years UAE: 3-6 years (minimum 3 years with a Principal Consultant, Main Contractor, or Developer - mandatory)

Qualifications:

Master's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) Dubai Municipality & DEWA certifications (preferred) QA/QC or Quality Management certifications (advantageous)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer - MEP to ensure all MEP works are executed and handed over in accordance with approved designs, specifications, contract requirements, and regulatory standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, document control expertise, and effective coordination with all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure MEP project execution and handover comply with drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, and authority guidelines. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Conduct and coordinate inspections, testing, and factory visits; ensure third-party verifications are completed. Review and respond to RFIs, CVIs, and resolve technical issues efficiently. Monitor project schedules, including baseline, construction, and look-ahead programs. Lead weekly technical and progress meetings; prepare and circulate minutes of meetings (MOMs). Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress and timely handover. Identify non-conformities, issue observation notices, and track corrective actions to full compliance.
