Job Description

a. Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for the projects.

b. Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

c. Inspect the incoming Raw material as per the standards and requirements and update/communicate related issues through Technical Manager.

d. Inspect the products like BMUs, Brackets, Rails, Trolleys, Cradle, etc. as per the client's requirement as well as the international standards and norms.

e. Follow up with welding inspection tests, dimensional checks, and mechanical tests.

f. Follow up with deflection test as per the given standards.

g. Inspect the electroplating, galvanized coating, and painting.

h. Provide different and suitable welding knowledge and technics to workers.

i. Ensure maintenance of safety precautions at different stages of inspection and testing.

j. Prepare method statements, operational manuals, ITP, risk assessments, etc.

k. Follow up with QMS manual preparation and updating.

l. Prepare quality system procedure, implement, follow up and update.

m. Inspect the materials given to the subcontractor before delivery to the site.

n. Coordinate with the production for dispatch arrangements and apply delivery conditions.

o. Calibration of instruments periodically.

p. Make the conformity certificates for the products.

q. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation.

r. Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site execution team prior to inspection activities.

s. Review supplier inspection procedures, personnel qualifications & supplier material certificates.

t. Review and approve Supplier/Subcontractor Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test plans and procedures.

u. Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified, established, and retained in accordance with client, QMS, Project and regulatory requirements.

v. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and implement the required improvements for effective functioning.

w. Conduct audits of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality requirements.

x. Ensure the implementation of the planned training program and suggestions for training requirements for the project. Conduct project-based training as per requirements.

Stay abreast of the latest QA/QC standards and regulations.
