We are currently seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical) with minimum 14 years of experience and a proven track record in Ashghal projects, specifically under the Building Projects Department (BPD). The ideal candidate will ensure the implementation and enforcement of quality assurance and quality control procedures to meet Ashghal and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements in accordance with Ashghal BPD specifications and project requirements. Monitor all mechanical works and ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards (ASHRAE, ASTM, BS, etc.). Review and approve material submittals, method statements, test reports, and other QA/QC-related documents. Conduct site inspections and supervise testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, etc.). Liaise with Ashghal consultants, project managers, and subcontractors for all quality-related matters. Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), implement corrective and preventive actions, and follow up to ensure closure. Maintain up-to-date QA/QC records and prepare quality reports as required by the project management. Provide training and guidance to site engineers and QA/QC technicians on quality procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 14 years of QA/QC experience, with mandatory experience in Ashghal BPD projects Excellent knowledge of Ashghal quality procedures, specifications, and document control standards Strong understanding of mechanical systems in infrastructure and building projects Certification in ISO 9001:2015 (Lead Auditor preferred) Proficient in QA/QC documentation, MS Office, and quality reporting tools Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills Must be currently in Qatar with a valid QID and NOC (Required)

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR16,000.00 per month
