Qa/qc Engineer (mechanical)
Job Description
Review and implement project-specific quality plans and ITPs (Inspection Test Plans).
Conduct inspection of mechanical works, materials, and installations.
Monitor and verify welding, piping, HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
Perform material receiving inspections and review MTCs (Material Test Certificates).
Coordinate and witness third-party inspections and testing activities.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents such as RFI, MIR, WIR, and NCRs.
Review method statements and technical submittals.
Supervise and monitor contractor's QA/QC activities and performance.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Ensure calibration of inspection tools and test equipment.
Maintain quality records and prepare daily/weekly QA/QC reports.
Verify mechanical drawings and specifications before implementation.
Support site execution team in quality-related issues and compliance.
Provide training to workers and subcontractors on quality procedures.
Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are consistently met.

Pay: QAR9,000.00 - QAR11,000.00 per month
