Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified

QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical)

with strong experience in

pipeline projects

to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will oversee quality control activities, conduct inspections, and coordinate with clients and consultants to achieve successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for mechanical and pipeline projects. Review project specifications, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), method statements, and ensure compliance. Conduct inspections of materials, welding, fabrication, erection, hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, and commissioning activities. Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including test reports, material traceability, NCRs, and final dossiers. Coordinate with third-party inspectors, consultants, and client representatives for inspections and approvals. Monitor and ensure adherence to international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.). Verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) reports. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conformities. Support HSE requirements and ensure quality and safety compliance on-site. Provide technical support to the site team regarding QA/QC matters.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Minimum

5-10 years of experience

in QA/QC roles, specifically in

pipeline projects

(oil & gas / construction). Strong knowledge of

ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant codes/standards

. Certification in QA/QC or NDT (CSWIP, AWS, ASNT Level II/III) preferred. Proficiency in preparing QA/QC reports and documentation. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
