Job Description

Educational & Professional Requirements:

Degree:

Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience:

Several years in construction quality control, with 2-4+ years common for mid-level roles.

Core Knowledge:

Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, project documentation, and site quality control processes.
Key Skills & Knowledge Areas:

Construction Processes:

Concrete works, formwork, rebar, finishing (tiling, painting), earthworks, MEP systems.

Materials Testing:

Compressive strength, density tests, material inspection, and test certificates.

Standards & Codes:

Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, API).

Documentation:

Creating quality plans, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and final handover documents.

Software:

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and potentially AutoCAD.
