The QA/QC Controller is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control systems on construction projects to ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Planning & Control
Implement the project
QA/QC plan
, inspection and test plans (ITP), and procedures
Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
Conduct routine quality inspections and audits at site
Inspections & Testing
Coordinate and witness inspections and testing of materials and works
Ensure all materials delivered to site are approved as per material submittals
Maintain records of inspections, test results, and approvals
Documentation & Records
Review and maintain
method statements, ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs
, and quality records
Ensure proper documentation and filing of quality-related records
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports
Non-Conformance Management
Raise
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
when required
Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Verify closure of NCRs and quality observations
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors
Support site engineers and supervisors on quality requirements
Attend quality meetings and site coordination meetings
Training & Awareness
Conduct toolbox talks and quality awareness sessions
Promote quality culture and best practices at site
Handover & Close-Out
Assist in preparation of
as-built documents, test certificates, and handover dossiers
Ensure quality compliance during snagging and final inspections
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
Minimum
10 years of experience
in QA/QC within construction projects
Experience in
Civil / Building
projects
GCC experience Only
Candidates must be in UAE for face-to-face interveiw
Certifications (Preferred)
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor
QA/QC or Quality Management certification
