Job Description

:

We are looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer to join our project team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the project's Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures. Review and verify material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs). Conduct inspections for materials, installations, and works in progress. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related matters. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including NCRs, MIRs, and inspection reports. Ensure corrective and preventive actions are properly implemented. Participate in site audits and ensure compliance with ISO and project standards. Proven skills in inspection of construction materials Interpret and review shop drawings Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements Note and report on work that does not meet requirements Educate workers on the required standards Work with senior managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality Strong understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and specifications

Requirements:

Education:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is standard. Diplomas may also be acceptable for some roles.

Experience:

3-6 Years of experience

Industry-specific knowledge:

A solid understanding of the specific materials, standards, and processes for your industry is crucial. Construction: Knowledge of UAE quality standards, building codes, and project-specific requirements. IT/Software: Manual and automation testing experience. Skills and competencies

Technical skills:

Proficiency with MS Office and specialized software like AutoCAD or QA/QC reporting systems. Knowledge of inspection and testing techniques and equipment. Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards, such as ISO 9001.
