The QA/QC Engineer ensures that all interior fit-out works (civil, joinery, MEP, finishes, etc.) comply with project specifications, design drawings, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, managing documentation, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Quality Planning & Control

Develop and implement the

Project Quality Plan (PQP)

, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements for all fit-out activities. Review project specifications, drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Monitor daily site activities and ensure that works are executed as per approved drawings, materials, and methods. Coordinate with Project and Site Engineers to ensure that all inspection requests (IRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) are properly managed.

Inspection & Testing

Conduct inspections for materials, in-progress works, and finished products (e.g., partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, paint, and MEP works). Prepare and maintain records of inspection results, testing, and verification. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities identified during inspections or audits.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain QA/QC documentation, including material approvals, inspection reports, test results, and NCR logs. Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management and clients. Ensure all QA/QC records are complete and submitted for project handover.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on quality-related matters. Support the procurement team in selecting and evaluating suppliers and subcontractors based on quality criteria. Provide training and awareness to site personnel on quality procedures and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. Minimum

3-7 years

of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in interior fit-out or construction projects. Strong knowledge of

fit-out materials

, finishing techniques, and quality standards. Familiarity with

ISO 9001:2015

quality management systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, civil, and MEP drawings. Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
