Supervise and monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process activities, and final products.
Ensure adherence to ISO, API, ASME, and Oil & Gas industry standards.
Prepare and maintain all quality control documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Calibration Records, and Test Certificates.
Verify and maintain welding, fabrication, and coating records as applicable to production.
Coordinate with third-party inspectors, clients, and subcontractors for quality verification.
Ensure traceability of materials, fabrication processes, and test results.
Manage and control QC documents (inspection reports, production logs, material certificates, etc.).
Support internal and external audits
Identify quality issues, propose corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
Train and guide production staff on quality standards and documentation practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or relevant Engineering field.
Minimum 3-7 years' QC experience in the Oil & Gas / EPC / Fabrication industry.
Strong knowledge of welding processes, NDT, fabrication, and coating inspections.
Familiarity with codes and standards (ASME, UL, BS, API, ASTM, ISO etc.).
Experience in maintaining production and QC documentation.
Excellent knowledge of quality control procedures.
Certification- Min Level II QC certification.
Experience in handling project QC documentation and turnover dossiers.
Hands-on experience in Oil & Gas fabrication.
