Job Description
We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with experience in metal fabrication to ensure all fabricated equipment and components meet client specifications and industry standards. The role involves quality document preparation, on-shop inspections, coordination with third-party inspectors, and ensuring compliance with inspection and test plans (ITPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit quality documents as per VDRL requirements. Conduct inspections in accordance with ITPs for equipment, piping, and structures. Coordinate and monitor NDT activities; ensure completeness and compliance. Liaise with client/third-party inspectors for inspection and approvals. Review non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Verify calibration and usage of measuring/testing equipment. Approve inspection reports and obtain Inspection Release Notes. Prepare and revise inspection and testing procedures as per client comments. Maintain material traceability and arrange material test certificates (MTCs). Compile Manufacturer Record Books (MRBs) for project closeout. Coordinate daily with production teams and inspectors for inspection clearances.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
CSWIP 3.1 Certification
3-5 years of experience in QA/QC within metal fabrication or heavy engineering. Familiar with international codes and standards (ASME, AWS, etc.). NDT Level II certification preferred (RT, UT, PT, MT). Proficient in preparing inspection reports and quality documentation.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
