Job Summary

:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

QA/QC Engineer - Post Contract

with a strong background in civil construction and interior fit-out works. The ideal candidate will have

a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience

and will be responsible for ensuring that all post-contract activities meet the quality standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

:

Quality Assurance & Control:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures post-contract. Monitor and ensure adherence to project specifications, contract requirements, and local regulations. Review and verify material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and test reports. Conduct internal quality audits, inspections, and site walks for all fit-out and civil works. Ensure proper documentation of quality control activities and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Coordinate and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with project teams.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues. Conduct snagging and de-snagging works with the site team and ensure all punch points are closed within the stipulated time. Provide quality-related technical support to site teams during execution and handover stages.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain and update QA/QC records including inspection requests (IRs), material approvals (MARs), and third-party test reports. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly QA/QC reports to management and consultants. Assist in preparing project close-out documents and As-Built submissions.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and client-specific quality management systems. Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures are integrated into the quality system where applicable.

Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.

Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience

in QA/QC roles, with proven experience in

civil construction and interior fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DEWA, etc.) Sound understanding of ISO quality management systems and auditing processes. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other construction management tools. Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
