Key Duties and Responsibilities:

QAQC SUBMISSIONS:

Prepare and submit project specific technical submittals such as Project Quality Plan, Method Statement, ITP, Checklists, Quality Reports, Procedures, Plans, corresponding QA/QC logs, etc., and liaise with consultants for the approval of the submittals. Review Supplier / Manufacturer submittals for Prequalification, Material submittals, Test Certificates, O&M Manuals, Warranty Certificates, etc and Ensure that the submittals comply with the project requirements. Prepare and submit Weekly and Monthly Reports to QAQC Manager or / and Project Consultant (if required). Prepare and submit Audit Reports, NC Reports, and any other Quality specific document / report as directed by Management.

QC INSPECTIONS:

Conduct Inspections on site for Works executed and Materials delivered, Review the WIR & MIR submissions to ensure all the relevant attachments are enclosed. Liaise with Project Consultant / Client representative and join them for Work Inspection request, Material Inspection, Sampling & Testing's if any to obtain Approvals as detailed below:

Inspection of DLC and subcontractors work on site to ensure the works are carried-out in accordance to shop drawings and approved Method statement and submit the Inspection Request to the consultant / client for approval. Ensure Inspection Requests are submitted and approved as per Approved ITP. Coordinate closely with DLC Construction / Execution team to rectify the comments on WIR or MIR with status B & C (i.e., Approved with comments & Rejected) immediately the following day and revise the submission to obtain it as Status A (Approved). No WIR / MIR shall be left Open (Status B or C) for more than 3 days. Conduct Site Visits / Surveillance Inspections to Identify and report any non-conformances. Take-up all necessary Correction and Corrective actions / Preventive actions to avoid recurrence. Any recurring NC shall be escalated immediately. Performs QA/QC Checks, Audits and reviews Work with the Lab Coordinator to conduct sampling and testing as per the project specification, standards and frequencies. Review the test reports, prepare Test registers and update on a regular basis. Report the status of completion of the official inspections such as accepted, rejected, post-poned or cancelled to the project manager. Inspect supplier's/ subcontractor's factories / workshops to check quality before the material is delivered to site as and when required. All materials arriving on site should be checked & documents such as but not limited to Packing list, Country of Origin, Test Reports, etc shall be verified as per the Delivery notes. Any discrepancy or missing documents or Failures shall be informed immediately to the supplier prior to offloading. Ensure materials are offloaded using the specific lifting tools, stored as per manufacturer's recommendation and material labelling & flagging implemented. Any non-conformance in materials delivery shall be escalated on a immediate basis. Coordinate with site team and prepare snags close-out report.

QA DOCUMENTATION / CLOSE-OUT :

Conduct Trainings / Workshops / Tool-box talks to the site team including Foreman and labour prior to start of works / as and when required / directed. Carry out closing of the NCRs in conjunction with the site team. Focus and monitor Implementation of Corrective Actions to avoid Recurrence. Review and Implement Document Distribution Matrix and Document Management system at Projects / Site on a regular basis. Ensure Document Filing, Archiving and Storage in accordance to Company's Procedure and System Ensure all QA documents are being used as per Company procedures & ISO requirements.

OTHER RELATED WORKS/PROCEDURES AS DIRECTED BY MANAGERS:

Keep a track / record of the deviations and discuss with management. Any changes in procedures or methodologies shall be recorded in the project submittals. Follow proper procedures based on the method statement and approved shop drawings in order to avoid rework /repair which costs the company additional manpower, materials and time. Assist as necessary the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues. Ensure low skilled labour are supervised by trained and highly skilled labour. Identify non-quality trends and advice project managers, site engineers, site supervisors for resolutions. Verify the quality-related site activities are in accordance with client requirements. Third party activity on site should be closely monitored Perform all other duties as assigned by the QA/QC Manager and Project Manager.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements:

Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role Bachelor's Degree in (Horticulture /Agriculture/Irrigation/MEP/Civil) Engineering from a recognized University preferred Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Extensive knowledge of Golf course and landscape projects is required Good Communication skills both written and verbal (Preferably English) Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment Adaptability and ability to work under pressure Advanced Knowledge of MS-Office UAE Driving License preferred
