Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement

Project Quality Plans (PQP)

,

Inspection Test Plans (ITP)

, and

Method Statements

as per UAE authority requirements. Review project specifications, drawings, and related documents to ensure compliance. Establish and maintain

document control procedures

as per ISO 9001:2015. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure quality goals are achieved.

Quality Control:

Supervise inspections and tests related to: LPG pipelines (carbon steel, stainless steel) LPG storage tanks (aboveground/underground) Pressure vessels, valves, regulators, fittings, manifolds Leak and hydrostatic testing Witness factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT). Ensure all

WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications

are approved and updated.

Reporting & Auditing:

Maintain and track all

QA/QC records

, including welding logs, inspection reports, and calibration certificates. Prepare

non-conformance reports (NCRs)

and

corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

. Conduct regular

internal audits

and support third-party/authority audits (e.g., Civil Defense, ADNOC). Coordinate

HSE and QA/QC meetings

with project teams.

Qualifications & Requirements: Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 3-4 years of experience

in QA/QC roles, preferably in

LPG or Oil & Gas

projects within the UAE or GCC region. Hands-on experience in

UAE Civil Defense approvals

and

LPG installations

(residential, commercial, or industrial).

Certifications:

ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

(preferred).

CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI

for welding inspections (if applicable). Knowledge of

API 1104

,

ASME B31.3

,

NFPA 58

.

Skills:

Strong understanding of

UAE regulatory requirements

(Dubai Municipality, ADNOC, Civil Defense, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD review, and QA/QC software tools. Excellent report writing and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and in coordination with multinational teams.

Safety & Compliance:

and

hazardous area classification

norms. Support the HSE team in

risk assessments

incident investigations
