We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled
Senior QA/QC Engineer
to join our team in KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards across all project phases, managing vendor and subcontractor inspections, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve site purchase orders to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
Control and coordinate on-site and off-site vendor inspectors; compile inspection assignment packages.
Review vendors' QA/QC systems in accordance with contract and project-specific requirements.
Attend site and procurement meetings to facilitate quality adherence.
Coordinate vendor quality approvals and verify documentation & certificates for purchased materials.
Review supplier quality plans, inspection procedures, personnel qualifications, and material certificates.
Track nonconformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with management and owners' representatives on procurement issues and quality improvements.
Monitor progress of purchase requisitions and manage subcontractor quality performance.
Ensure documentation aligns with international standards (ISO, ASTM, ASME) and local Saudi standards.
Support continuous improvement of quality management processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of practical QA/QC experience, preferable in civil construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Proven experience in the UAE or KSA construction markets is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP, PCN, or equivalent are preferred.
Strong understanding of project-specific standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent knowledge of QA/QC tools, software such as SAP, Teambase, or similar systems.
Leadership mentality with experience mentoring or leading QA/QC teams.
Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Willingness to travel and relocate as required.
Physical ability to conduct site inspections and assessments.
