QA/QC Engineer

1. Graduate in Civil Engineering 5 years relevant industry experience in structural finishings inspection experience in UAE with good structural and architectural knowledge in building construction industry as QA /QC Engineer (Civil)

2. ISO 9001: 2015 Internal Quality Auditor certification

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure that work is being carried out as per project specification and contract requirement

2. Review project technical submittals (Material / Samples/Shop Drawings) for correctness prior to formal submission to the consultant

3. To carry out internal inspection in coordination with the project execution team to ensure that internal inspection findings are addressed prior to offer for Consultants Inspection/ Authorities.

4. Generate relevant project quality deliverables - Method Statement, ITP, Material Inspection Request & Work Inspection Request in line with the protocol set by the employer / consultant.

5. Carry out joint inspection with the consultant and obtain approvals of MIR, WIR and MEP clearances.

6. Ensure that materials are being stored as per the specific requirement set by manufacturer

7. Ensure that Project Green Building Requirements as set by authorities for various constituent materials are complied with

8. Liaison with the testing laboratories for the timely sampling of materials and delivery of test resultant as per the frequency of tests

9. Liaison with the sub contractor's onboard and ensure that the sub-contractor's scope of work is in line with the project requirement

10. Generate weekly and monthly QA/QC Reports

11. Liaise with project document controller to ensure that all submittal trackers are updated on regular intervals

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
