QA/QC Engineer - Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects


Location: Doha, Qatar


Job Type: Full-time - Contract basis


About the Role


We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team for ongoing oil & gas and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with QatarEnergy projects and a strong understanding of quality control, inspection procedures, and project specifications in the EPC environment.


Key Responsibilities


Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and inspection plans in compliance with project requirements.

Review and approve ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.

Conduct site inspections, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Monitor welding, coating, hydrotesting, and fabrication activities for compliance with approved procedures.

Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.

Support project teams during audits, surveillance, and handover documentation.

Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy and international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 5-8 years' experience in QA/QC roles within oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.

Previous experience in QatarEnergy projects is highly preferred.

Certified in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor; additional certifications (CSWIP, NDT Level II, BGAS, etc.) are an advantage.

Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation, testing procedures, and project handover requirements.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.
