Overview:

Marmi Engineering Co. W.L.L., a leader in the construction and design industry in Qatar, is seeking a meticulous and experienced QA/QC Engineer. This role is essential for maintaining the highest quality standards for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing quality assurance policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Planning:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality assurance policies and procedures. Ensure projects adhere to all relevant legal standards, codes, and practices.

Inspection and Testing:

Conduct regular site inspections and material testing to ensure construction meets all quality and performance standards. Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of QA/QC activities, including inspections, tests, audits, and corrective actions. Prepare and present regular reports to management on quality assurance metrics and project progress.

Compliance and Certification:

Ensure all materials, processes, and final products meet industry-specific standards and certification requirements. Liaise with external auditors and inspectors to ensure ongoing compliance.

Continuous Improvement:

Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff. Initiate and implement improvements in all aspects of the quality process, aiming for an enhanced level of quality in all projects.

Training and Development:

Conduct training sessions for project teams on quality assurance policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest QA/QC best practices, standards, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in using QA/QC software tools and applications. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Certification in quality control is highly preferred (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ).
