To ensure that all Mechanical works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and quality benchmarks. The QA/QC Engineer will oversee inspections, testing, documentation, and coordination with project stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of Mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical systems) to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Review and approve Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), MARs (Material Approval Requests), and WIRs (Work Inspection Requests).
Supervise testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Maintain QA/QC documentation including NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), SORs (Site Observation Reports), and corrective action plans.
Ensure adherence to ISO, ASME, NFPA, SMACNA, and other relevant standards
Participate in internal audits and support external audits as required.
Provide technical support and training to site teams on quality procedures and standards.
