Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

QA/QC Engineer

to oversee and ensure quality compliance on all construction activities, with a particular focus on

material submittals, approvals, inspections

, and documentation. The ideal candidate will be familiar with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for CIVIL and STEEL works.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineer (or equivalent discipline). Diploma in Engineering may be acceptable with additional relevant experience.

Minimum 3 years' GCC experience in Civil and Structural works

Driver's License (Required)

UPDA License (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit

Material Submittals

and

Method Statements

in accordance with project specifications and consultant/client requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical data, certifications, samples, and compliance documents. Liaise with consultants and clients for material approvals and respond to technical comments or clarifications. Monitor and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet approved specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and QA/QC checks to verify that work is being carried out as per approved drawings and standards. Maintain and update

Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)

, quality checklists, and related QA/QC documentation. Issue

Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

and ensure proper follow-up and closure of corrective actions. Ensure proper documentation and filing of quality records for audits and handover. Coordinate with construction and procurement teams to resolve material or quality-related issues. Support in the preparation of final QA/QC dossiers and handing over documentation at project completion.
