Job Description

Responsibility

Develop and implement QA/QC procedures in compliance with QCS and project specifications. Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and material submittals. Conduct inspections of materials, site activities, and finished works. Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance. Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test results, and NCRs. Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Liaise with third-party labs for material and concrete testing. Ensure compliance with international standards (BS, ASTM, ACI, etc.). Maintain calibration and certification records for testing equipment. Train site teams on quality standards and inspection procedures. Attend and participate in QA/QC coordination meetings. Conduct internal quality audits and assist during external audits. Prepare quality handover documentation and as-built records. Inspect concrete works, steel reinforcement, finishing, and MEP activities. Implement and verify quality control checkpoints on-site. Support resolution of punch list and snag items during project closeout. Analyze recurring quality issues and propose corrective actions. Maintain full QA/QC documentation and audit trails. Ensure project quality aligns with ISO 9001:2015

Qualification

BSc in Civil Engineering relevant to the project nature Experience: Min. 15 years ; Relevant Experience: Min.10 years Qualified professional who can manage and coordinate specialised activity, discipline or team of moderate size and complexity. Leads in the formulation of advanced technical concepts. Or, Provides specialist services in support of project requirements. Independently performs highly complex professional assignments demanding contributions calling for the application of specialised principles. Minimum 5 years in quality function on projects. Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken. IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification or equivalent.
