Job Overview:

A QA/QC Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes during construction projects. This role ensures that all construction work meets the project's specifications, standards, and codes, and that any issues are promptly addressed to maintain the highest quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and policies for construction projects. Monitor and ensure that all construction activities comply with the project's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to QA/QC plans. Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-compliance reports. Maintain records of project quality metrics and provide regular updates to project management. Perform site inspections and quality checks on materials, equipment, and construction work. Oversee and coordinate third-party testing and inspections as required. Verify that all tests are conducted according to established procedures and standards. Identify and document non-conformances and deficiencies. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues. Collaborate with construction teams to resolve quality-related problems promptly. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction standards and regulations. Stay updated with the latest construction quality standards and best practices. Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients regarding quality issues and improvements. Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met. Provide training to construction teams on QA/QC procedures and standards. Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the project team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Minimum of 3years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry. Proven experience in quality assurance and control in large-scale construction projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
