. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and control procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all projects comply with industry standards, client requirements, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Control:
Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for aluminum and facade works in line with industry standards and project specifications.
Conduct inspections and audits at different stages of fabrication and installation to verify material quality and workmanship.
Monitor compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure alignment with company policies.
Site Inspections:
Perform regular site inspections to assess construction processes and identify quality issues.
Document and report non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective actions with project teams.
Collaborate with site staff to enforce quality control measures during fabrication and installation.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
Prepare detailed QA/QC reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Ensure proper documentation and approval of material submittals, shop drawings, and inspection requests.
Training and Support:
Provide training to project teams on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
Support the QA/QC Manager in identifying improvement areas and developing training programs.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding quality-related matters.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality status, issues, and corrective actions.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in QA/QC within the aluminum, facade, or construction industry.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, ISO standards, and industry codes (ISO, ASTM, etc.).
Proficiency in inspection methods, quality reporting, and QMS documentation.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Other:
Valid driving license and ability to travel to project sites.
