. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality assurance and control for construction projects involving curtain walls, cladding, doors, windows, and other facade systems. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure that all fabrication, installation, and materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Control:
Develop and implement QA/QC procedures tailored to aluminum and facade projects.
Monitor the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO and project standards.
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process activities, and final products.
Ensure workmanship and materials meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
Site Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections at both fabrication facilities and project sites in Al Quoz and surrounding areas.
Identify quality issues, document non-conformances, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
Ensure installation processes follow approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain and update quality control documentation, including inspection reports, test results, NCRs, and corrective action logs.
Review and manage material submittals, shop drawings, and inspection requests.
Prepare periodic quality reports and updates for management and clients.
Training and Support:
Provide technical guidance to production and installation teams regarding quality standards and procedures.
Assist the QA/QC Manager in delivering internal training and identifying areas for process improvement.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in site and project meetings to report on quality matters and follow up on agreed actions.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or a related field).
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years in QA/QC roles related to aluminum, facade, or construction industries.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of QA/QC principles and industry standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.).
Proficient in quality control tools, inspection techniques, and non-conformance management.
Basic understanding of AutoCAD and ability to interpret technical drawings.
Familiar with documentation systems and reporting formats.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Mobility:
Valid UAE driving license preferred; must be willing to travel to various job sites.
