QA/QC Engineer

to join our award-winning team based in

Abu Dhabi - UAE



The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the technical evaluation, inspection, testing, and approval of construction materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards to guarantee durability, performance, and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.

We envisage success in this role to include;Monitor and enforce

quality control and quality assurance

on all construction activities in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Review and approve

method statements, ITPs, material submittals

, and other technical documents submitted by contractors. Conduct

regular site inspections

, audits, and witness testing to ensure compliance with approved documents and industry best practices. Ensure that all QA/QC documentation is properly maintained, filed, and updated throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise closely with contractors, project management, and client representatives on all quality-related matters. Provide technical input during progress meetings and contribute to resolving quality-related issues. Ensure that

construction works

adhere to local

Abu Dhabi regulations

and international standards.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years of broad-based engineering and project management experience, partnered with a

Bachelor Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.

Proven

consultancy-side

experience on

building construction projects

, preferably retail or commercial. Solid understanding of

UAE construction codes

, standards, and regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of

ISO standards

, QA/QC systems, materials testing, and inspection processes. Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills. Experience in

Abu Dhabi-based projects

is a plus.
