Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that engineering and construction activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance and control processes, conducting inspections and audits, reviewing documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and standards. Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with project requirements and codes. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the quality management system. Ensure that all materials and equipment used meet project specifications and quality standards. Identify non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions. Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality records. Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors. Assist in the preparation of quality documentation for handover packages. Train project staff and subcontractors on QA/QC requirements and best practices. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality workshops.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. Familiar with QA/QC documentation and quality control processes. Proficient in MS Office and quality management software/tools. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
