Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all materials, workmanship, and processes meet the quality standards and project specifications. This role includes preparing and reviewing material submittals, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and liaising with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage material submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs). Conduct inspections for materials, equipment, and works on-site as per approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals. Ensure that all construction activities comply with project quality standards and contract requirements. Monitor construction processes to identify non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions. Maintain updated QA/QC records, including material approvals, NCRs, site instructions, test reports, and inspection logs. Conduct internal quality audits and support third-party audits as required. Coordinate with the Document Controller to manage transmittals and ensure proper tracking of submissions. Assist in training site staff on QA/QC procedures and best practices. Participate in final handover and snagging processes, ensuring documentation and close-out requirements are met.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical). 3-6 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or MEP projects. Strong understanding of construction quality standards, project specifications, and industry codes (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE, BS, NFPA). Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC reporting tools. Knowledge of local authority requirements (e.g., DCD, ADM, DM) and approval processes. Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in fast-track or design-build projects. CAN JOIN IMMEDITALY Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
