Key Responsibilities:

Civil Inspections:

Conduct detailed on-site inspections of structural works (e.g., foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls) to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor workmanship and material quality for all structural elements in accordance with project requirements and international standards.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare daily inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and maintain accurate records of site observations, tests, and progress.

Review of Drawings:

Verify that works on-site are executed according to the latest approved structural drawings and shop drawings; flag any deviations for corrective action.

Coordination with Contractors:

Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure timely rectification of non-compliance issues and adherence to quality standards.

Site Supervision:

Ensure that construction activities are carried out safely and as per the project timeline, while monitoring alignment, leveling, and dimensions.

Testing Oversight:

Witness and verify structural material tests (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube tests, rebar testing) and ensure third-party lab results align with specifications.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure works are carried out in accordance with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority regulations.

Progress Monitoring:

Assist in tracking progress of structural works and raise concerns if activities deviate from the schedule or expected quality benchmarks.

Handover & Snagging:

Participate in structural snagging, de-snagging, and project handover processes to ensure all structural components meet required standards before client submission.

Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Civil inspection within the UAE, preferably in a consultancy environment. Hands-on experience in supervising and inspecting reinforced concrete and structural steel works on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
