Qulification:
Bachelor's Degree A degree in Civil Engineering is generally required. + MMUP accreditation is advantage.
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience and in the oil and gas industry will be advantage, with at least 5 years specifically in Quality Control & Quality assurance.
International Codes and Standards:
Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards, like ISO 9001, QCS2014, BS, ACI is expected.
Management Systems:
Experience in formal training and practical application of Management Systems, including auditing, statistics, data analysis, and reporting, is also important.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Quality Management Systems:
Knowledge and experience in implementing and managing quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
Inspection and Testing:
Experience in various inspection and testing procedures, including those carried out by contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
Auditing:
Formal training and experience in auditing Management Systems, including ISO 9001, + ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 is advantage.
Additional Requirements:
Lead Auditor: Being an IRCA (or equivalent) approved Lead Auditor for one of the IMS standards is also a common requirement. Location: Many QA/QC Engineer roles are based in Doha or Ras Laffan. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important for interacting with various stakeholders. * Knowledgeable for Key documents QAQC, Such as PQP, MST, ITP, WIR, MIR, MAS, Testing materials, PQD , NCR's and others.
