Knowledge & Qualification:
a) Educational – Graduation (Preferable with Polymer / Plastics Technology)
b) Experience – 12 Years and above in Supervisorial or Assistant Manager position in Quality Control in Plastics Manufacturing facility
Preference – Worked in Plastics conversion related to Food, Pharma & Medical industry.
Clean room exposure would be advantage. ISO Auditors for the same industry
c) Advantages – Certification in Six Sigma , Kaisen & other Quality Tools
d) Personal Attributes – Leadership capabilities, willing to take challenges, work with multinationals, flexible to work achieving objectives and goals
e) Certifications – Internal or Lead auditors for ISO , six sigma (Advantage)
f) Language – Speak & Write English Fluently
g) Computer Skills – MS Office, Basics for ERP modules
Role & Responsibilities:
a) Lead the Quality Department taking care of QC & QA roles of all conversion plants
b) Prepare and manage the Annual Operating Budget (AOB) of Quality Department
c) Responsible for the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of Quality Department
d) Responsible for Management Information System (MIS) for Quality Department
e) Manage the supervisors of individual plants as per Company objectives and Business leaders
f) Responsible for Quality Audits across the business
g) Lead certification audits and requirements
h) Training for the team & the business team accordingly
i) Implementation of TQM
j) Maintain Labs & Quality related equipment
k) Liaise with Regulatory & Statutory bodies and ensure compliance
l) Review SOP’s & Procedures & implement and update time to time
m) Update KPI’s relevant to the Key Result Areas (KRA’s)
n) Responsible for achieving the Short-term & Long-term goals
o) Not limited to the above but to all universal requirements of Quality Department
