We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented
QA/QC Mechanical Engineer
to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical quality assurance and quality control processes within the
construction industry
, with at least
10 years of UAE experience
. Immediate availability is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor the QA/QC procedures in line with project requirements and company standards.
Perform inspections of mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors on quality-related issues.
Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs.
Ensure all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications.
Lead internal audits and quality reviews across the project lifecycle.
Provide technical support and guidance to the project execution team.
Liaise with the client's QA/QC representatives and attend regular quality meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a QA/QC Mechanical Engineer role within the construction industry in the UAE or GCC.
Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.).
Proficient in preparing ITPs, method statements, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and QA/QC audit processes.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
Must be available to join immediately.
