Job Title: QA Inspector

Reporting to:

QA/QC Supervisor

Nature of the Position: Fixed Term Full-Time

Location: UAE, Dubai

Role Overview:

The job holder is accountable for the visual, NDT and dimensional inspection of supplied machined items, rental fleet items and supplier service items. They are responsible for managing and controlling all measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the visual and dimensional inspection of machined items which includes + Goods in inspection
+ Final inspection
+ NDT inspection
+ Drift testing
Responsible for the review of all documentation supplied with all items that require a quality inspection Responsible for uploading all hardness, Non-destructive testing and drift testing results onto spreadsheet Responsible for the raising of Non-conformance reports either internal or Sub-con Responsible for the control of Non-conforming products Calibration + Planning of internal/external calibration
+ Updating On base data base with records

Qualifications/Skills and Experience:

Essential:

ASNT Level II in MPI and LPI CSWIP 3.1 Welding Qualification Minimum 2 years' experience in an Inspection role Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Knowledge and experience of an ERP system, ideally Microsoft D365 High level of computer proficiency (work processing, spreadsheets and presentations Knowledge of Calibration requirements Knowledge of Weld inspection Highly proficient in spoken and written English Full Driving License

Desirable:

In depth knowledge of QHSE International Codes and Standards Internal Auditor in either ISO9001, ISO14001 or ISO45001 Experience of ISO9001, API Q1 and API 6A
